A Pre-Valentine Event Puppy Love
(Damariscotta, Maine): “Puppy Love: A Rescue Event to Benefit LCAS & Catahoula Rescue”, will be hosted at The Animal House on Saturday, February 9th, between 11am-2pm.
Featured at the event will be “Puppy Love” keepsake photos, a dog cookie bake sale, free samples and plenty of adoptable dogs looking for homes. All proceeds will go to benefit the Lincoln County Animal Shelter and Catahoula Rescue, Inc of New England. Catahoula Rescue will also be hosting a raffle.
Photography for “Puppy Love” will be provided by Wagmatic Studios- children welcome. The cost for a photo with your favorite four legged friend, including a frame, are $10 each.
The Animal House & SUDS! Grooming, located at 15 Coastal Marketplace in Damariscotta, is an award-winning business and features healthy food and supplies for dogs and cats and other companion animals. They host several rescue fundraising events throughout the year, including 12 Woofs of Christmas, The Fur Ball and Woofstock.
Upcoming events at The Animal House also include a Rescue Me! Adoption Day to benefit CT Underhound Railroad on Sat., February 23, and a Pet First Aid/CPR class on Sunday, March 24th.

We have expanded our delivery area!!
We are NOW delivering once a week to the PORTLAND area! We appreciate how many of you make the big trip up to see us, but we know it can be challenging.
Portland deliveries will be on Tuesdays (same as our Bath/Brunswick run). Minimum order is $125, no delivery charge. We can deliver to your home or office. Please call us if you are interested in being on the route.
We need at least 48 hrs notice, so please call us by Sunday afternoon with your order (563-5595).

Catahoula Dogs At Our Adoption Center
Beautiful Catahoula Dogs are available for adoption through Catahoula Rescue, Inc., at The Animal House Oct. 20.
The Animal House will host Catahoula Rescue Inc. of New England on Sat., Oct. 20, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Coordinator Shannon Nachajko will talk to people about the breed, volunteer and foster opportunities, and dogs available for adoption.
Catahoula Rescue Inc., is an all-volunteer group whose mission is to advocate for homeless Catahoula Leopard dogs and Catahoula mixes, to place these animals in permanent, loving homes, and to promote responsible guardianship through humane education.
The rescue has saved and re-homed hundreds of Catahoulas and Catahoula mixes, and works diligently to save as many of these wonderful dogs as possible. For more information about Catahoula Leopard rescue, please visit: www.catahoularescue.com.
