The Animal House was established in early 2005, based on the philosophy of nutrition and superior customer service, a concept that is lacking with box stores having a majority of the market share. In 2008 we expanded into the web market by offering our inventory to the rest of the United States, and in 2011 we expanded our inventory to include small animal, fish, birds and reptile supplies. We try to offer the best products available on the market at the best possible prices. In mid 2011 The Animal House will have a variety of web applications to help you make your selections.

We initially started our web store to combat the massive amount of cardboard waste. Every distribution delivery we receive comes with a lot of empty boxes after stock the shelves. Our thought was why not give the boxes another round of life before going through the recycling process... Expending time, money and energy on boxes that could still be used. It may seem like a small thing, but imagine shrinking the weight of your waste management recycling by 75% a year. Thats nearly two tons of cardboard!

Our self-service wash facility is like no other you’ve experienced. Professionally designed to put convenience and fun into the “chore” of washing your dog, The Animal House will give you an experience fit for a canine king or queen. Just bring in your dirty dog and we will provide you with everything you need to brush, wash and dry them. We even clean up after you! We also offer professional, full service grooming by appointment.
